Testing

General Testing Information

Testing is available for people 14 and older. (For information about testing options for those younger than 14, visit the American Mensa Web site or call 1-800-66MENSA.) If you think you may qualify based on past test scores, visit the American Mensa Web site for submitting test scores. Testing usually takes less than two hours. Regular testing sessions are held the second Saturday of every month (except October and December) in Plymouth. Individually scheduled testing sessions can be requested in Ann Arbor, Flint, Grosse Pointe, Plymouth, Southfield, Sterling Heights and Downriver.

Testing Options

SEMM will be hosting testing sessions during our Regional Gathering, SEMMantics from May 1 through May 3, 2009. The testing session will be Saturday, May 2 at 4:30 p.m. More details on SEMMantics can be found on our RG page.

How to Register

  1. Click to the SEMM Testing Application
  2. Fill it out.
  3. Print the completed form.
  4. Attach a check (in US funds). Home Test fees are payable to Southeast Michigan Mensa. Admission Test fees are payable to American Mensa, Ltd.
  5. Mail the check and form to:
